We've known for a while we're going, but we still don't know when/how long our panel will be. Anyways, discuss the upcoming convention here, be it what you'd like to see from us during our panel, whether or not you're going, etc.

Convention runs August 13-15 in Worthington, Ohio. Of our group, the likely attendees are Master WGS, DarkBomberKid, Xerostyle, and ModernTenshi04. There are hopes of LordMoonstone's presence, but due to his moving to Florida later in the summer, this is unlikely. Ultimate Champion is a dumb-butt, and will likely refuse to go. Deathscythehello hates anime conventions, and most of all, our panels.

More information on the convention itself: http://matsuricon.org/

However, I do like hanging out with you guys.

But, I still can't go. What with the Iron Curtain and all.

I didn't want to go last year because I thought small conventions would be boring and a waste of time.

Of the conventions I've been to in the last year, none have been able to live up to Matsuricon.

Seriously, all of you who enjoy cons should check out Matsuricon. Personally I'd love it if Matsuri were to get as big as Ohayocon, providing two big anime cons in Ohio, one in the winter, and the other in the summer.

Don't you remember? Eddie has that WHAM concert he's going to in New Hampshire that same weekend. He's been talking about it for the last month.

I haven't heard him say anything about a WHAM concert.

Yeah, Matsuricon had a pretty good game room considering the small space they had overall.

Speaking of space, for those who went last year, the convention is NOT at the same hotel. This year it's at the Double Tree on the other side of the freeway. Still the worthington exit, you're just going to go in the opposite direction off the freeway you did last year.

Nothing set in stone yet, but feel free to cast some votes in their Tournament Request thread. I shouted out all the things I'd be willing to join in if they happened.

(I'm assuming that's the proper title for the Guilty Gear you guys play, right? There are too many iterations of that crappy game.)

Yeah, it's only what happens when people take the time to balance their fighting games out. Of course, you wouldn't know what that means, would you, Marth? :D

Admission is free, though. You just need to worry about hotels.

I asked how much it cost, not for a link.

Anyway, and maybe you're trolling me, but why would I need a hotel if it is in Worthington?

1) Because you could have easily found the information yourself with a simple Google search, and linking to the page regarding registration provides you with all the necessary info without me reposting it all here.

2) You don't need to worry about a hotel room. I think DSH was confusing this with Youmacon in October, which is in Detroit. None of us are staying in a hotel room for Matsuricon. Unless DSH was trolling, then yeah.

Right but I'm trying to stop Google from taking over the world and I refuse to support Matsuricon without further information.

P.S. I think you have something on your face...
