Uploading now. Didn't go over too well at the panel, but I think that's understandable. By the way, why weren't you at the panel?

Written By: Master WGS & CountAbyss

Special Guest: CountAbyss

Release Date: January 29

Release Party Status: It premiered at Ohayocon to a room with around 600 people inside. I'll call that a party.

Misty looking at Ash as a ghost made me chuckle. And Jerry too (though he doesn't go on these forums, so I figured I'd post for him)

Also, the pacing was pretty consistent. I remember that being an issue with me in some of the more recent episodes, so thumbs up on that.

Most of the rest of it still didn't hit for me, but still...

Oh Grant, I noticed you're still using a replacement sound effect for when the Pokeball opens. Dunno if you would be interested, but I have a whole bunch of sound effects I've ripped from the Japanese episodes when there was no background noise or music.

If you want 'em, just hit me up on Skype when you're next on.

Also, for those who want the episode:

There were a lot of voices i doidnt recongnise,
so i think something to bring back is the credit reel.
ikids has, although id say that there not neccisary considering theres only 3 people,
but ptas has a lot more voice actors so a credit reel is needed

Thanks, 1Kids, for posting a link. I'll modify WGS post for that.

As for my reaction... I wasn't a big fan of it. There are some definite lols to be had, but the mood and the pacing just didn't seem right.

It appears you get to skip yet another episode. Anyways it was pretty good. Not the best by a long shot. DSH is right, the pacing is off.

Dude, I forgot we even had this episode. Like, we did it 4 months ago!!!

And by did it, I mean recorded it.

I was Gengar. ModernTenshi was Haunter, Count was Ghastly.

I think that's all of them

I decided not to reprise my role as Gastly and gave it to Count instead.

So I googled day time ghost and got this...

Also, the pacing for this one seemed a bit off. Idk what it was, but it just seemed different.

Probably the amount of time that passed between scripting and editing it.

Either way, I'll agree that this wasn't the best, but I like a lot of its charm. Makes me excited to work on PTAS more, to be honest.

The Daytime Ghost might be my favorite joke of the series.

I did love The Daytime Ghost, even more than my super-meta joke. And I thought the meta-joke was hilarious.

While not your best episode I do have to admit I enjoyed the Haunter bomb joke, wasn't expecting it in the least.

I feel the same as WGS. Not every single joke was a home run, but this episode had a lot of charm. Spooky clown face, Flying plates, "I'm going to miss him", small pox, gravity,...I found much to LOL at. Overall, I really liked it. The only part that really didn't work for me was the "Poison type" exchange.

"I died of smallpox!"

The poison type exchange was for those of us who trained Ghost Pokémon in the video game in order to take out Sabrina only to find that Psychic is really good against poison; IE psychic had no weakness.

A little funnier the second time around.
Can DSH script an episode again?

I'm late, but I'm responding nonetheless.

I found it to be a great episode. I'm glad that the jokes seemed to flow consistently. Of course I say that like I'm some sort of big shot.

The jokes were nice. I specifically loved the jokes such as "poison-type" and the gravity joke. It seems like the main trio are sort of coming up with their own reality around the situation (Especially Brock) which I really like. In the words of a famous man

"I reject your reality and substitute my own."

So you're skipping the Sabrina rematch and going straight to Celadon, right?

Skipping? You act like we didn't cover the Sabrina rematch. We did that episode. Yes, we covered it for all of 2 seconds, but it got covered.

Spoiler: show
Seriously, though, a third Sabrina/Psychic/Ghost episode would have sucked, and the episode itself wasn't that great, so ending it quickly was a good option.

Well anyways we get more of Ash dressed as a chick. I know everyone is looking forward to it (especially because of the awesome joke you already made about it).
